The twins have discovered America!!! They were born on Monday at around 4 p.m. One, named Johnson after his dad, weighed in at 7 lbs 1 oz. The other, Matthew, weighed in at 6 lbs 14 oz. No wonder their mom was tired. Big sisters are excited and proud. They all got to hold the babies today, even the two year old. Very carefully. She loved touching their hair. Dad can't quit smiling and grandmas and grandpas are suitably impressed too. They're not identical twins but they look enough alike that grandma had to remember that Johnson had the most hair to know which baby was which. I don't know how moms & dads with identical twins keep them straight.

Congrats - I know you're so proud! They were big for twins; guess that explains why your daughter was so tired.

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Leah is now much lighter and happier! The names they picked are such good ones. Forgot all that book stuff for a while and just hold those babies!
The babies are doing great. Grandma is tired, but Mom and Dad are home now and settling in. Thanks for the congratulations. They are so cute.
